What services do you provide?
As a veterinary urgent care, we provide a wide array of same day services such as in-house diagnostics (bloodwork) and imaging (x-rays and ultrasound). We also offer treatment services and on a case by case basis we are able to provide surgical intervention and overnight hospitalization - however we are not a 24/7 continuous care and monitoring facility. For more details about our services, check out our services tab!
How do I know if my pet needs to be seen?
Inevitably your pet always seems to be ill at night and on the weekends when access to a vet can be limited, but when do you need to be seen urgently versus waiting until Monday to see your regular vet? We advise the following: Any sustained GI issues (vomiting, diarrhea) >24 hrs; any severe condition such as respiratory distress, straining to defecate or urinate, toxin ingestion, or trauma; or if your pet has an underlying condition that can’t wait (heart disease, diabetes, etc.).
Ultimately, if you are concerned about your pets well being and do not feel comfortable waiting it out through the weekend, we will happily see your pet and help in any way we can.
How much do urgent care vet services cost?
The effects of our changing economy and once in a generation inflation has taken its toll on many sectors, veterinary medicine included. Providing high quality medical care, especially on the weekend or through the evenings, can become costly. However, we work with our clients to provide payments options such as Care Credit or Scratchpay and we always provide options with our treatment plans - allowing you, the owner, a role in deciding what is best for your beloved pets.
