Expectations for a Positive Visit

Client and Patient Expectations

At Paradise Pets Urgent Care, we believe in creating a positive and respectful environment for both our clients and our patients. To ensure the best possible experience for everyone, we have established the following expectations:

What We Expect from Our Clients:

  • Respectful Communication: We kindly request that all interactions with our staff and other clients be conducted with courtesy and respect. Profanity, abusive language, and threatening or harassing behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Patience and Understanding: We strive to provide timely care to all our patients. However, unforeseen circumstances may arise that require adjustments to our schedule. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these times.

  • Collaboration: We believe in a collaborative approach to pet care. We encourage you to actively participate in your pet's treatment plan by asking questions, sharing concerns, and providing relevant information.

  • Responsible Pet Ownership: Please ensure your pet is properly restrained (leashed or in a carrier) while in our facility. Please also clean up after your pet if necessary.

What You Can Expect from Us:

  • Compassionate Care: We treat all our patients with compassion and respect, recognizing the special bond you share with your pet.

  • Non-Judgmental Approach: We understand that pet emergencies can be stressful. We provide a safe and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable discussing your pet's needs without fear of judgment.

  • Clear Communication: We strive to explain your pet's condition and treatment options in a clear and understandable manner. We encourage you to ask questions and express any concerns you may have.

  • Collaborative Care: We believe in working together with you to develop the best treatment plan for your pet. Your input and preferences are valued and respected.

  • Professionalism: Our team is committed to providing high-quality care with professionalism and integrity.

We believe that by working together with mutual respect and understanding, we can create a positive experience for all and ensure the best possible outcomes for your beloved pets.

  • Payment Policy

Payment is required at the time of services. You will be given an estimate prior to services based on physical exam and clinical history. If the estimated total is expected to be over $250, a deposit may be required.

We accept cash, credit card, debit card, Care Credit, and Scratch Pay.

  • Privacy Policy

Paradise Pets Urgent Care is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and their pets. We may collect personal and pet information for the purposes of providing medical care, creating medical records, communicating with you, and taking payment.

We will never sell or otherwise disperse your private information. We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure.

  • Appointment Policy

Our urgent care is open to the entire community of pet owners in our region in need of our services. While we do take appointment by call, we are a walk-in clinic. Additionally while we try to ensure patients are seen based on arrival, we also prioritize urgent and emergent cases so that pets get the attention their condition demands.

By engaging in an appointment with us, you as the pet owner are agreeing to the cost of an evaluation and are liable for covering this cost at the time services are rendered.
